a new player in the expandable wing plow game

Has anyone heard of a new player in the expandable wing plow style coming out soon ??

I overheard that there is a company that is close to introducing this style plow soon.

Anyone else know anything about this ???

They're a bit too late to make it for this winter, and a bit too early for next year. Maybe they'll unveil it at the NTEA show in March?

The company is not Boss, but they do currently manufacture plows.

From what I heard Blizzards patent was / is up soon and therefore an oportunity to enter the market for a new expandable plow company was born.

Anything not made by DD would be a bonus. Buyers has some nice stuff. I haven't read anything bad about them????

If they filed the patent after June 7, 1995, it has a 20yr duration. Meaning that at the earliest, their patent wouldn't expire until 2015.

Maybe it's a Blizzard that's galvanised, just like the Artic's are?

Was at a dealer with Lawnguy and Buyers has something in the works but wont say much yet........
I must say I really looked at the new Blizzards and wont be buying one.
DD said I believe that they wouldnt change the blizzard to cheapen it up???? Riiiiiiigggggghhhhhhtttttttt
They changed the curvature of the blade, sparse welds, lightened it up big time so I wont be buying a new one.
If you have an old Blizzard cherish it, take care of it, because the old tuff Blizzard as we know it is gone.
