slower wear on cutting edges
I have a 10' mc fisher plow that I use for highway plowing. I have heard about people purchasing some type of carbide anti wear tip for the outside edges of the plow. The two outside edges are the only parts that really get worn down, so I didn't know if anyone had any info on this subject.

I use Winter Equipments products which BSDeality posted a link to. Plow guard jr's on my 10' Henke Loader Plow and my two Fisher 9' plows on the F-450 and F-550 and I use there Xtendors on the 8' Fishers on the two 3/4 ton pickups. They work so well I also welded a set of Extendors onto my small John Deere 4410 utility tractors plow. If your close to Wenham, your welcome to come take a look at them on a plow.
