Privacy Policy

As part of the Forum registration process, and each time a post is made by a Member, information about that Member is stored on the server. This user specific information is limited to the IP address used when a post is made, and the IP address used when a Member registers, the time of day a Member logs in, in addition to the E mail address used during registration and validation of Membership, and listed in the Member's Forum Profile.

This information is not for sale, and will never be distributed for any reason. If a request is made by a law enforcement agency, for a legitimate reason, any relevant information will be provided.

Other than that, the information will only be used for the purpose of supporting the Forums, and contacting Members for official Forum business. (If a Member checked the box to allow E mail from Administrators during the registration process, and even if not, if contact is necessary for Forums business, an attempt will be made using the E mail address provided in the Member's Forum Profile). Please note that refusing to accept E mail from administrators is reason to have your Membership revoked. Personal information will not be shared with any third parties not directly affiliated with the Forums, or Snowplowing-Contractors.com. (Note: Directly affiliated means Forum Administrators, and Forum Moderators ONLY).

E Mail addresses of Forum Members will never be used for bulk E mail, or Spamming.

Notes:

• Only Administrators and Moderators can view Member's IP addresses.
• When you log in, the time that you logged in is recorded on the server log.
• When you opt to make your E mail address "visible" during registration, at no time is it actually visible to the other Members. Only Administrators and Moderators can view it. At no time is it made available for public viewing.
• Snowplowing-Contractors.com and LetsTalkSnow.com Discussion Forums do not send out Bulk E mail to the Membership at any time. Rather than use this option, important information is either posted as a "Read Me" thread, or as an official announcement on the Forums.
• E Mail addresses @snowplowing-contractors.com are set up to receive E Mail only, and then forward it to another address. If you receive E mail from anyone "@snowplowing-contractors.com", it is a forged address.
• Use the "PM Pop-Up" feature, it will make it easier for you to realize you have a new Private Message.
