=+ Please keep the discussions professional. As an old friend once said, "if you would not say it in front of your customers, do not say it here."

=+ These Forums are "Rated PG-13" generally speaking. If you would not see something, or hear the language you would like to post with on network television between the hours of 8 pm and 11 pm, please choose your words more carefully. IF you are unsure about how you want to say something, or think something in not appropriate here, chances are it is not. Don't post it.

=+ Please do not post offensive images. If you are unsure, then don't post it.

=+ All Internet Message Boards are different. Conduct or content that is appropriate on one Forum, might not be on another. Below you will find help in adhering to our policies on these Forums.

=+ Don't impersonate anyone, intimidate, or harass others in posts. Notify the Administrator if others are doing this to you.

=+ Don't "spam" the message boards with repetitive posts.

=+ The Official Language on the Forums is English. Posts made in other languages may be deleted without warning..

=+ Be VERY cautious when sharing personal information.�Remember, anyone with internet access can view what you post here, now, and for a long time to come.

=+ Use the "Report This Post To A Moderator" link at the bottom of every post to report postings you feel may be inappropriate.

=+ When an item you posted in the "Wanted / For Sale" Forum is sold, please post that it is, or use the "Report This Post To A Moderator" link to tell us it has been sold. We reserve the right to remove postings as we see fit. This includes deleting posts more than 90 days old.

=+ You may list your company name in your signature. You may post that you are a dealer for a particular product. You can list your dealer status in your signature. You may not spam at any time. If someone asks about your product, feel free to post about it. If you have a new product that you feel could benefit Members, then post about it. Do not post about it in more than one Forum. If no one replies, consider the discussion over, do not keep posting about it.

These Forums are here are for your enjoyment, entertainment, networking opportunities, and education.� However, message board behavior and postings must abide by the rules below. It is your responsibility to review these rules before posting here.

You agree that you will not use the Snowplowing-Contractors.com Forums to;

Disrupt discussions by;

=+Posting with user names in topical Forums that are offensive to the topic.

=+ Posting with the intent to disrupt discussions.

=+ Posting threads and replies that will cause arguments, such as going into the Western Plows Forum and saying "Western plows suck", especially if you have never owned or operated one.

=+Please do not slam products. IF you own a particular brand, you are welcome to share your experiences. If you plan to share second hand information, please be sure to mention the information is second hand.

=+ Once Banned from these Forums, you will never be welcome back here again. Any attempts at registering again, will result in immediate Banning, without notice.

=+ Repeatedly posting off-topic messages in a�Forum.

=+Using any signature that displays IP addresses or similar messages. Such as the "vipersig"... Here is an example:

=+ Spamming (by posting the same message in multiple folders.)

Postings cannot contain;

=+ Explicit or graphic descriptions or accounts of sexual acts, including but not limited to sexual language, or language of a violent or threatening nature.

=+ Hate speech or ethnic slurs directed at another individual or group of individuals.

=+ Depictions of violence in a gratuitous manner, primarily intended to agitate or disrupt discussions.

=+ Text pasted into a post or thread, taken from a PRIVATE MESSAGE received on this site.

=+ Contain vulgar language, or vulgarities directed toward another individual or group.

The following is also unacceptable;

=+ Posts that are intended to victimize, harass, degrade or intimidate an individual or group of individuals on the basis of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation.

=+ Attempts to bypass the automatic word censor by masking vulgar words will be considered posting those words. There is no need to swear to get your point across. Attempts will be treated as the actual posting of those words. Don't jeopardize your membership status here.

=+ Solicitations of personal information from a minor (under 18 years old).�(Personal information includes, but is not limited to, full name, home address, home telephone number, or other identifying information that would enable "offline" contact or perpetuate further inappropriate online contact or harassment.) We take the protection of minors VERY seriously here.

=+ Posts that contain viruses or any other malicious computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware.

=+ Posts that contain material that threatens, promotes, or instigates physical harm or death to others, or oneself.

=+ Posts that incite or glamorize illegal activity of any type.

=+ Solicitations for exchange, sale, or purchase, of any pornography, of any type. Hyperlinks to any pornography of any type.

=+ Posting materials that are copyrighted, trademarked, or information that violates other's rights to privacy.

=+ Posts that attempt to harvest or collect member information.

=+ Impersonations or representations of any person, or entity, in an attempt to deceive, harass or otherwise mislead another member.

=+ You may not pretend to be an employee, or representative of LetsTalkSnow.com / Snowplowing-Contractors.com.

=+ Attempts to get a password, or other private information from a user.� Remember:� LetsTalkSnow.com - Snowplowing-Contractors.com - Forums Moderators and Administrators will NEVER ask for your password.

=+ Posts that advertise and/or promote the sale of products or services, including, without limitation: drugs, controlled dangerous substances, lotteries, ammunition, firearms, fireworks and other explosive materials, tobacco, alcohol, adult products and services, illegal products and services of any type.

=+ Postings that facilitate distribution of unsolicited bulk e-mail, advertising or any other unauthorized solicitation including chain letters, box top programs, multi-level marketing schemes, and pyramid schemes.

=+ Links to and/or references to content not allowed under these rules.

=+ If you are under 13 years of age, you are not eligible to be a Member.

Additionally, Snowplowing-Contractors.com reserves the right to remove and / or edit any post, at any time, for any reason. You may or may not be notified if we do edit one of your posts.

=+ These rules will be evolving over the course of time, and they may be changed at any time, without notice.

=+ Post links to other discussion forums whenever you like. That is fine by me. It is however against the rules to post links to other snowplowing discussion forums.

=+ No foul or explicit language. We will have zero tolerance for this. You will get one warning, and you will be banned FOREVER. NO EXCEPTIONS. Explicit language means 4 letter words.... no harm in using the word "ass" in context...

=+ If you have something to sell, please post it in the For Sale / Wanted Forum. IF that is the only reason you are here, go some place else please!

=+ Personal attacks will not be tolerated. Debate is fine, but if you want to attack someone, or carry on a long fight, than take it to e mail. Bickering is expected anytime a large group of people get together in one place. if a discussion turns into two people going back and forth, I would hope those 2 people will take the debate to e mail, without having to be asked.

=+ Dealer links, dealer self promotion, manufacturer links etc.....
If you sell plows, tell us. Put a link in your signature. If you will offer members here discounts, tell us. If you see a new product that would interest us, tell us about it. If you are, or work for a plow or equipment manufacturer, then YOU MUST BE A SPONSOR HERE TO POST ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT, OR MENTION YOUR PRODUCT OR POSITION WITHIN THE COMPANY HERE. BOTH IN YOUR POSTS AND SIGNATURE. If you are a dealer, and want to participate in our discussions, then please do so. If you are just here to constantly post about your product, but not discuss your product, then don't post. SPAMMING is not allowed here. SPAMMING is when you post about your product repeatedly, and that is basically all. Posting about your product in multiple forums could be considered SPAMMING too.

=+ What I say goes, PERIOD. I have a group of Moderators, and we will discuss all decisions regarding this site. We will try to be fair to everyone, and we think that we are. Please respect our decisions. We know sometimes our decisions will be questioned, and that is fine, but you still have to respect our decisions, period. Additionally, this is my site, and I will have the final say in all matters.

=+ I reserve the right to ban anyone at any time, for any reason, or no reason at all. That does not mean that I will, just that I am reserving that right. I would hope that anyone who knows me, knows that I am fair, and tolerant, and that I know we all say things we should not have said at times, or make hasty decisions. We are all human.
