OK guys a I have a mini light bar on my 92 Chevy that mounts with the magnets but it scratches the truck. On my new 05 i don't want that to happen what kinda set up do you think i should go with? To me lights are important for safety. But i dont want to tear my trucks roof up.

If you like having rotators up high, I'd look at a light bar with the suction magnets. I have a code 3 420 mini light bar with the suction magnets, they dont scratch because the whole magnet is encapsulated by the rubber. However, if the surfaces are not clean (roof and magnet), they can still scratch if dragged due to the material trapped in between. If you want to spend a little more money, look into LED's. I have lots of LED's and seldom even use the rotators any more. LED's are also nice because they draw very little power which is important when plowing.
Check out www.LSHLights.net, www.sirennet.com, or www.galls.com. All 3 have good selections of rotators and LED's. I've had positive experperiences with both LSH and Sirennet, but have never bought from Galls before.
