Hi everyone I am by far the odd ball here as I do not plow living in Northern California, but I like to follow a lot of the threads that these sites have as they have great information on Trucks and also I may be moving in the next year to somewhere that I may be plowing in so thought I should learn a little. I have been reading how some of you are having problems keeping up with power loads as well as wanting to go LED. I am a big LED fan myself so I thought I would post some pictures of what I have done on my truck. For the record it is a 2005 Ram 3500 4x4 SRW and of course has the Cummins. Let me know what you guys think...

lets try this again...

Here is the Front of the truck with my LED DTR Lights that also make great fog lights and the 2 LED strobe heads that are tied into the turn signals as well...

Here is the 911EP Light Bar mounted in the rear window, the outer 2 segments are off in this picture. I need to still make a bracket to put it at the top...

Here is my custom LED Bar that I had made for the tailgate hard to see in the pic but it has 2 5" Amber and one 8" Red section; it also is tied into the brake, tail and turn system with the controller that I built.

Here is the front mudflap that I managed to cram a LED lamp into and following is the rear which I like better without the rubber rim... Now if I could only get the dam little Yellow screw caps that I lost!

Here is my Switch setup, the 4 in the cluster are for the light bar, the 5 small switches are for my custom controller that triggers the 3 flash modes as well as off and a push to pass button...

And here is the center console, I put 2 LED lamps in it for indication when the strobes are on as I kept forgetting about them from time to time...

Wow, looks sharp!

I was hoping to add some LEDs to my truck this winter, but don't think I'll be putting any on the mudflaps. Seems like the snow plowing would take care of those in short order - but they look cool! The interior treatment looks very professional.

Welcome to LTS!

Thanks for the kind words guys, on my 01 Cummins I had a lot of stuff installed including jideaways and what not but on the 05 I wanted a little cleaner look and not the so commercial look on the interior; I love the LED's as my entire lighting system without the LED bar is only about 1.5 amps when fully illuminated. I built my LED controller as there is no controller that I have found that did everything I wanted one of those things being the ability to have my own flash patterns. so now if I want a different pattern I just write the code for it and poof new flash pattern. If anyone is looking for any of the particular lamps let me know I can get you the info. Thanks for the welcomes, I may be part of the plowing crowd soon enough so I hope to learn a lot.
