Anyone near cookstown NJ?

Ok, I know this is a lot to ask, but I'd gladly pay someone for their time. I was wondering if anyone is close enough to cookstown NJ to check out a truck for me. I posted it under Okay deal in this thread, a 1986 4WD Chevy 1ton pickup, it's about 4 hrs from me and I really hate to lose the time and gas to go down there. It's a ex-military truck, I don't need a mechanic just someone who knows their way around a truck and can test drive it, and just give it a once over in person and let me know, as I said, I'll gladly pay someone for their time.

it's about an hour and a half from my house. down in southern nj. not sure if anyone else is closer than me. when do you need to have it looked at?
my schedule is really tight right now. if you really need it done and someone else isn't closer, let me know.

Thanks for the reply, so far I'm having trouble getting info from the people selling the truck, I'm supposed to call back tommorrow am, so I'll let you know how that goes. As far as scheduling, I would say if noone else ends up being closer, then whatever is convenient for you is fine by me, I'll make sure and ask their availability when I talk to them tommorrow.

Well, called again today about the truck, again, woman was rude, this time she at least answered a couple of my questions before saying, well if you want to come look at it fine, I really don't know anything more about it. Mind you my questions were, is it an auto and when was it last inspected... not toughies. Anyway, I'm gonna look elsewhere, can't imagine doing business with someone like that... but Dan thanks anyway for the offer of help...
