Kawdude, that sounds like it should be a good option to have. I bet alot of new truck buyers will opt for that. It should come standard I think though, especially on that new 6.0l diesel motor. :D Mike :D

kawdude,

You have that all wrong, It is heated like the leather seats, BUT

It's so we can sit on the tailgate have a coffee and watch the Chevys finish plowing since we're all done !!:D

Got to love a well equipt truck !

Are you sure the option isn't offered for those that tend to lock themselves out, waiting for a locksmith to arrive?

Wow i thought it was just me that had those bad dreams about torrsion bars, 800.00 elec fuel pumps. wiper motor failures and torn cv joint boots , leaking intakegaskets , 500.00 fuel units wheeeeeeeeeee i woke up and remembered thank you lord for GM if it wasnt for them my repair shop would be empty.

And all auto techs say amen!!!!!!!

PS the heated tailgate is a option ford chose to add to the standard cabs because you can only fit two chevy truck owners in the cab the tail gate allows another three to ride in semi comfort:D

Snopro, while you looked under your F350 for torsion bars did you happen to see the rest of the directions? You didn't crawl under it to see if it had torsion bars did you?
And BWAMX we Chevy/GMC owners can't help it that we are so confident in our truck's abilities that we take on more contracts than other truck owners might dare to take on.
I'm going to be in big trouble soon, posted something about Dodges on another thread and no I'm picking on Fords. Oh well, no one has my address, and living life on the edge is the only way to live. :D

Well Windmill I just have had a good mechanical sence and worked as a mechanic for years. My two GMs were a piece of crap! period. Doesnt take much to see the difference in suspesion, but then again we have dreamers thinking how great torsion bars are and the like. Bottom line you didnt see me crank up my leaf springs a few turns now did you? And you dont see me talking where out of my XXXX Oh and its Prosno not snopro

Sorry Prosno. I've had both and never had cause to complain about either. Right now I have three Fords sitting around, one GMC and one Chevy working. No torsion bars cranked. Don't know why all the fuss between any vehicles as long as they're making a person money, but I like a joke at any time. Being Dutch I'm collecting the Fords because once I'm retired I understand it will be the right vehicle for me.:)

My apologies windmill, Tired from plowing, cranky and starved. Think I'll go have a sandwich, have a beer and get some sleep. Gee maybe I should go to PS and get banned while I'm this cranky LOL

Thanks Snopro, no appology needed, we all get that way at times. Also helps from my end to REALLY make sure the other readers recognize things being said in jest.
I've been pushing the envelope there (PS) but nothing so far. I feel like a teenager when I'm there (like all the rest) :)
Sorry Pelican (place crying smilie here).

Nice to see that the Fords have the heated tailgates as a plow option. We Dodge fans have a new 04 option of our own. A sleeper conversion for the Quad Cab we can rest while we wait for all you Ford and Chevy/Gm owners to stop pi**in and moaning about one anothers trucks and get back to work:argue
