I have a 7.5' western unimount with basic wings on it. I want to get a set of wings similiar to turkey wings for a more effected box plowing setup. Are turkey wings the way to go or is there anything new or different out there that would work on a 7.5' western.
Thanks for any and all replies. -Tom

I used Turkey wings with very good success last year. Made my parking lot productivity go up at least 500%. (no joke!!!!) There shoudl be a thread on here talking about turkey wings already.

Last year was my first year for turkey wings, and I would highly reccommend them. They boosted my productivity by quite a bit. The only thing I didn't like about them is that after about 8 storms, I wore through the bottom wear plate on both wings, and had to weld more steel on. Other than that they're awesome.
Try a search as well, they've been discussed before.

Turkey Wings ROCK ! For my usage (bank drive thrus, moving snow, etc)
they can't be beat ! For windrowing they are also awesome.
Take off 1 wing (No tools needed..Just slide outta the channel)
and go to town....NO spillover !

The site http://www.turkeywings.com is down right now but you can call
Roger the Turkey Wing guy direct 715-878-4523

Will bring up the old thread for you to look at.
It will be in the Plow Discussions thread.......................geo :drinkup

You can also e-mail me and I'll send you out more info.

turkey wings, power scoops are both good. My brother in law built his own power scoops. I'll see if I can grab some pics for you next week. I don't think it costed him more than $50. Looks reallly good.

The Company that had the PowerScoops was bought out by
"EZ Technologies" last year and changed the name of them to "MegaScoops" to better discribe what it made your plow become once they were installed..
Watch for new snowplow accessaries coming from "EZ Technologies" very soon..
 John.....
