About private massages

I just registered and then read Chucks post. When you register the choice for pop-ups for Private e-mail and messages is off in the register, by default I presume. New registers probable just don't notice it. Especially those new to forums like this. Can you change the default settings for this? I assume you already know this. But just in case your busy and over looked it I thought I mention it.

You're correct, the program defaults to the settings you find when you register, I imagine if Chuck could have changed them he would have.

I might be able to change it. The reason I did not try is that some people just hate pop ups of any kind.

Even with that message, I still see many members that have not chosen a pop up when they get a PM, and have not chosen to get a notification e mail when they get a PM.... :confused:

Well we haven't seen any complaint posts about people not getting their PM's, so not getting the notifications must be working for those people I would guess. They must look at their PM's each time they sign on, so its not a problem?
