Hello, I am new to the forum, and would like to know if anyone has experience with installing a plow on a lifted truck. Specifically, an 89 K1500 with a Superlift 6" full suspension system. Pictures or advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

This is what I can tell you, the mounts need to be extended so the "eyes" the plow mount to keep the a-frame of the plow paralel with the ground. Obviously this is easy on an older style plow where the upper part of the mount stays on the truck and only the plow comes off(leaving the headlights, pump, ect on the truck). But as far as the new plows go I have no clue.

Its very doable,as long as you have fabrication skills, and can drop the mount, and add bracing to the frame as needed to maintain the original height of the plow pivot, and keep it strong.
