Where do the brake light and reverse light wires come through in the cab? I bought a taillight flasher and it would be easier to do the wires inside the cabe then run them from the back in? Fred or Chris or any other mechanics.....

Depends on the vehicle but most likely the bulkhead.

Iam not really sure what you mean by a flasher but the brake light wiring and reverse back-up wiring is down near the bulkhead by the fuse panel . Why do you want the reverse lights to flash??? The brake light wire you could tag right off the switch on the pedal depending on what this flasher draws for amps. Explain to me what it is i dont want to see ya hook something up and damage other wiring. The reverse lights go threw the Mvlp on the trans so iam alittle concerned with hooking to that let me know.

PS auto trans or manuel ???

Its a Federal Signal bake and tail light flasher. It is the same ones they use in the police cars. My friend is wiring it in tonight he wants to wire it inside the cab instead of running wire from the rear inside to the cab. Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to find them in the bulkhead harness,up under the dash.Stoplamps are light green, left turn signal is light green and orange, and right turn is orange and light blue.

The reverse lamp circuit is black and pink, but like Fred mentioned, you can't get it from under the dash,as you must tie in behind the digital range sensor on the trans.I would hook up a relay setup like Alan's reverse lamp setup, add some better rear reverse lights, and tie into the stock lamps for your flasher setup.

Do you think it would be easier to mount it underneath being that it is waterproof?

Since most of those units are sealed and potted, you can mount it outside.I would mount it up near the master cylinder, and tie into the harness just below.Makes sure all connections are soldered, heat shrinked and sealed for reliability.

I got it in last night, works excellent. We put it right behind the taillight and wired it directly into the bulbs. WhenI put in m strobes Ill have some pics.
