Greg, yes that is the new edge from Dino ,the type 2. it is firmer than the type 1,but nothing like steel. So far I like it,il putting it thru its paces so we'll see how it does. Now get back over there to the ford section:D ,hurry up,lol.

Amazing how those nerf bars appear to make the ground clearance on vehicles look lower. Without them the trucks look taller. Of course, I could just return to the early days, like right after leaving the dealership with a new Ram, and step over them into the cab! "Strrrretch those legs, people!"

Gee, I've never had any problems stepping into those tall cabs- usually it's more of a slide than a ste though. I guess y 6'4" hieght is good for something.
Was gonna write more- just got a fire call!!
I'll be back!!1

Nice looking trucks boys:shades Here is my dad's old 97 that we had to sell to buy the blizzard. 196,000 miles, 318, half ton,and it purred like a kitten when we sold it. I still remember the day he bought it new...:( It is just like Wyldman's was supposed to be witht the driftwood strip. Boy that looks nice:zoinks This is her on her way out:( To rub it in, the guy that bought it didn't even drive it home, he hauled it on a flat bed, on a FORD:mad:

Rumor has it that it is the modern day Cheech and Chong mobile. If you remember in the movie Up In Smoke they drove the van made of Marijuana. Well at the site, www.beaterz.com where I found the picture the caption reads:
"Maybe I've been watching too many Cheech & Chong movies but I wonder if it's made of marijuana?"
LOL I thought it was sort of funny.

ahhhhhhhhhh Yes just what I thought.
I remember eating many a times at that restaurant. My favorite is the Riverway restaurant down the road a ways there.
We used to stay at the Cape Traveler when I was a kid every year ( I remember the old guy we called the CHIEF who owned it) Then as the years went by we started staying at the Mariner.

The Riverway just changed ownership after more than 50 years. The new owners have done a nice job in the place. The Mariner is owned by a good friend. A real nice place. Even better than the Riverway is the Yarmouth House. Ted Zambellis is the GM. (son-in-law of the owners). Real great food, fair price.

Does the Mariner still have that early 80's Black C/K 2500 with the Fisher plow and the big ol Strobe on top parked in their lot???
BTW if the Riverway still sells that salad dressing ill have to contact you and pay ya to send me a few bottles. :)

We usually spend a week or two in West Dennis / Dennisport area. Always make the trip down to the Yarmouth house for at least one meal. You're right. Great food !!

Hey Jay,
The Riverway Restaurant does not sell the dressing. The old owners kept the rights and sell through some local outfits. Let me know how much you want.

BWhite, ive been waiting to see your truck. Im really NOT a dodge fan but i must say that yours is a sharp looking set-up. Love the color. How has it worked out for you so far? And also i can see what Steve Pelican was saying about the trip-edge being SLIGHTLY tripped back. Also how does it sit with both plows up? Have any pics of that? Did you beef up the springs/add timbrens?
Again nice rig.

Nick, the truck has been great . I also like the blue,it looks great with the stainless X blade . I should paint the back plow a siver/grey. The backplow is 500# is balances nicely with the front plow never any wallowing or bottoming . I can keep the bed empty except some tube sand and shovels and the block of wood for the backplow jack .
I am going to have to pull the u edge off and trim it so it allows the base angle to return completely
