Any ideas on doing home oil changes with such a beast of oil capacity ? i.e. what to drain into and a good pump for 5 gal oil containers ?

Big oil drain pan from Walmart is what I use.
My IHC holds 6 gallons, fill the drain pan about 3/4 full, put drain plug back in, pour into used oilf container, then drain the rest out.

I got a 55 gallon drum, cut it off at the first rib and hammered a rounded lip on it so it won't cut your hands. It slides under trucks ok and will handle 5 gallons of oil with no trouble.
There are a variety of hand pumps available for 5 gallon pails, most of them work fine. Check with a well stocked auto parts dealer. I've always used a good funnel though and just poured the oil in.

I generally use 5 Gallon paint buckets (I have plenty from my painting days) and they fit neatly under the fords. They are also available with tops so it makes storage safer and you can handle them easily.

Go to any restaraunt and ask for their 5 gallon buckets. Everything is starting to come in them (pickles, mayo, dressing etc.) I could not give them away fast enough
