I've been spotting this truck for a few seasons, I laugh every time I see it. It sits parked across from one of my accounts, an Isuzu pickup with what looks like a SnoWay plow. The plow can't be more than 12 inches high! It does appear that he's able to plow his drive with it, but you'd have to plow every 3 inches I think to keep from flowing over the moldboard.
I thought you'd all get a chuckle with it.

I have never seen a plow that small. I think 3" would even be to much for that plow. :grinz

omg Steve-
I think you might as well trade in your 550, that thing is the ideal snowplow truck!
I wonder what happened to that plow, it looks too small to hold any snow as far as moldboard height. I think sno-way makes an 18" moldboard, but that one barely seems a foot tall.

Awwwwww- what a cute little plow wannabe-- maybe if he keeps feeding it snow and WD40 it will grow a little bigger.
LOL!
That would never survive near me!! Too many heavy wet lake effect snow storms here.

At least he isn't trying to plow commercially with it....
Steve- I wanted to tell you how pretty the trees in your mirror are. Since the snow we got was so wet, it hung off the trees and was very beauitful, at 4 am. Great pictures!
He just wants to make sure he doesn't overload that Isuzu. Either with the weight of the plow or the snow it pushes.

Well you all know the saying "Its not the size of your tool, its how well you use it!"
I think in this case it "IS" the size of the tool....hahaha
Is that a hot wheels? I think I had one like that when I was a kid. It sure pushed a lot of stuff, at 1/8" at a time...HAHAHA!

How about that bottom door rot? Makes for adequate ventilation in the cab if he's a smoker. Able to hear traffic better too!

That one looks like a SnoWay set up, but wy the lights? The moldboard doesn't even come close to covering the headlights? I know in my neck of the woods those blades would be useless. Last season we had 8 days striaght where we had 6-8" of snow every day!!! As soon as you started to push you'd be over the moldboard!! I have seen some interesting homemade setups around here- but nothing like those!!
They are quite laughable!!:D

Maybe the guy really likes plowing, more than the rest of us, because he would have to plow way more often than the rest of us, like every 1-2 inches or so! :D The picture Long0 posted I have seen before and it looks to be the same plow. By the way, Im loving the 2 tone color. :shades Mike :D

Can you turn your truck around and take a picture of the front, I'd like to see that little addition you have on the top of your blade...
Where'd you get the Buyers from and at what cost?

Have you ever seen a TRD with a plow on it?? Talk about frontend droppage... TRD's progressive coils are way too soft for the added weight... I was in Johnston, RI this past Monday coming back from Cranston and I passed THREE Tacomas with plow... One was a TRD doing a nasty front-end squat...
Now if it would only snow more so I can save the $$$$ for that supercharger!!! <LOL>
