ok i have a 1992? western conventional mount on my 1993 ford f-250. the plow is of and f-350 and hangs very low. i think i read sumwhere that the f-250 and f-350 under carrage was little bit different. that f-350 hangs lower. is this the case? if so id like to swap my f350 for and f250 and anybody has one for sale or trade?

Western....................Go to the Western plow web site and use the
plow selector. If the #s match between the 250 to 350 then I would
assume the old style hard mount would be the same and fit both.

Most of the Old style Western mounts had several mounting holes in the drop piece on the front. If after Adjusting / lifting the push bar up to get 11-12" to the center of the holes for the plow ears you can't hit any holes in the drop piece you will need to drill new holes or find a different drop piece.
It's a common practice to pull the frame off in 1 or 2 pieces and try to put it on the next truck. This will work sometimes but there are adjustment holes in them for a reason.
