so here is a link to my progress on my repaint. hard to get a perfect job outside but when its done only i know what is not quite right...

so tomorrow i flame it and get the first batch of clear on it. so for its just base coat. so far this is almost 2 weeks working every day but 2 due to the god afuk heat this week. if i had those two days back this thing would be done.

Those flames should really pop on that black! Looks good!. Black really separates the men from the boys when it comes to body work. Nice job!

Jeff

Looks really nice and like Steve said black is the bravest color has it shows every inperfect. One reason i tint my primer black has it allows me to see my work before i color and bad spots can be fixed and the reprimed.

Before anyone makes a comment about the truck being done or painted outside it reminds me of something that i want to add some of the best paint jobs i have done have been outside. It takes picking the right day to do it when i paint outside i always do it early in the morning while the dew is holding down all the airborn dirt and debris you can see your work better has well.

Black looks great but the cleaning is a nightmare. always shows swirl marks well all the dark colors but black moe so .now if there was a way that you could clean and not see marks :D . but it looks like it's coming out great can't wait to see the finished truck .

thanks i apperciate it its taken some time to figure this flame stuff and i do still have a way to go to get where i want to be with it. but it is fun every one is diffrent.. page 2 on cardomain has some updated pics... gotta grab some finished pics tomorrow when the sun is out. its all cleared and pretty now a cut n buff and put all the peices back on.

i won;t be showing it but hopefully who every buys it does it worth the look. i also added the purple passion pearl in this on but i don;t like it or i put it on to heavy wish i left it off.. but of well i was not going to go back and retrim with black and clear again.
