Wow, that's crazy but sweet! :grinz I sure hope that they have plenty of shear pins on hand. Very creative but I think the box could have be bigger with more agressive shears/auger.

I'm not sure you need shear pins, that thing will eat up anything in it's path. You could probably rotomill some asphalt with it. :grinz

Shear pins ? That dont need no stinkin shear pins
A 12-71 blower would be a good idea !

Shear pin is a bolt which lock the auger with the rotating shaft. With a tremeously amount of power of this motor, no doubt it would break the pins when chopping through heavy stuff.

For that much money, I think I would heat the sidewalks somehow and stay inside and watch the snow melt.
