Get some now if you can!! I'd love some for reference material. I know that the DSNY has trucks used strictly for plowing too, not the garbage truck/plow combo. At any rate, both are awesome!!

ExNYer,really nice work.The weathering on the Ford looks perfect.I haven't built model trucks in years,who still manufactures them?

Amt/Ertl still makes them. Revell of Germany makes great kits, along with Italeri from Italy. A lot of the older trucks (Ford, International S-series, Western Star) are no longer in production. Most hobby shops carry the newer "chicken" trucks. No rugged old trucks that can be used for plowing. Ebay has just about every truck made, you just have to pay a higher price there. Thanks for the compliments! I'm working on 2 new trucks right now, just no plows on them. I needed a break from all the scratchbuilding!!!

The Ford LN8000 is still for sale. It's been sitting there for over a year, but it's in great shape.

I thought about a diorama for my model, but I have no room for it in my apt!!!

I have no clue what they are asking. A company called Marcy Excavation in Utica, NY has it in their lot. They are a contracting company along with a dealership of construction equipment. I have no contact information on them.

I Guess? I just feel in Love w/It as a young Man!-- I keep IT--in Neighbors Steel Building--out of the Weather--I remember Bidding on IT!--as I got a Lot of Static!--from town People!--but--a few yrs Ago!-during a real Bad Snow Storm--Snow a foot & 1/2 deep w/Lots of High Wind!--a Woman in Labor that lived on One Lane Dirt Road--was in Trouble!--as Nothing Local-was Up & running that could Get There!--they couldn*t start the Town Walters--& Her Husband called ME!--& I told HIM I*D TRY?--as I had My Walters Home at the TIME!--a White OUT!
