Has anyone ever used these? What is the good, bad and indifferent about these plows? Looking to try one out on our Resi. truck this year and want to make sure Daniel's is the way to go. I would like to hear from someone that has used one of these, as I already have talked to Wade and Greg about these, but they are the ones selling them, even though I feel they are stand up guys I still need to hear from someone that does not have any stock in the company to tell me alittle more about them. Thanks.

I dont have any experience with Daniels but my Snowman Backplow has greatly increased my residential plowing efficiency. I think Scott (SLPLOW ) has experience with the Daniels

My previous boss has a Snowman Pull plow. He says that it has it's pluses and minuses. It was a pain to hook the thing up. We alway used a forklift and hung it from the forks to slide it into the reciever. You have to have that thing lined up just right. It also make the truck longer with a front and rear blade on. He does like it for his driveway accounts and loading dock. He said if he were to start all over again, that he would probably go with something like the Hiniker C-plow or something with down pressure.

Daniels makes a top notch product.
Talk to Jason Schmidt (SLC1 is his handle on the site if I am not mistaken) he owns some Daniels equipment and loves it.
Also talk to John (aka Garagekeeper) he has sold Daniels products for years and can tell you a ton of info about them...

I will try and reach SLC1 and discuss this with him. I would call John but I have already talked to Greg (Daniels) and Wade (Greg's right hand man). Like I said in the thread I want to get an opinion like yours, unbiased and not pursuading me in any way, shape, or form. I just want to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly about the pull plows. Our company already has a 16' wing plow from them and we love it, so I am already partial to the Daniel's because I have experience with their company. Thanks to the other guys for your info but that was not what I was looking for. :rockon

I have and Arctic rear plow that I bought used. Wyldman installed it for me about 1/2 way through last season, he posted the instalation job in the Arctic forum if you want to see the pics. I like the plow it knocked off about 1 1/2- 2 hours off of my route and it cleans the driveways up better than back dragging with the front blade. For me a rear plow is a good investment and well worth the money. Another small down side is that it can be a bit of a pain to load and unload snowblowers from the bed of the truck.

Ray buy a Toro 2 cycle snow thrower unless you are a weakling you shouldn’t have a prob getting it off the truck. I understand thou by the end of the night rolls around or the morning comes around you would be tired lifting the thing out.
I was gona buy that back plow off truck trader but Chris told me he just finished installing it the day before.. I hate you. :headwall
