Well boys I looked at the frame and flatbed on my F-350 and seen much need for some TLC so last week I went up to W.H. Rose and bought new flatbed, plus bought some slide in metal siides for it. Then I went and bought 15 bags of sandblast media. Now the good stuff yesterday we cut the connections to the dump host and pulled off the rottet body and believe me it was shot. Knocked all heavy scale off and today its getting sand blasted at the shop. I am taking camera today so tonight I will be posting pics of the whole project. See ya tonight!

Never mind when we pressure washed it. When I was riding on one of the foot pegs during one of the last snow storms in a parking lot. The damn step snapped right off while I was standing on it (good thing i had the sander to grab onto...

Clear LED taillights, Mounting headache rack top strobes, Custom mudflaps with a logo im working on, going to finally finish the XL to XLT grille upgrade by putting the chrome bezels around the headlights, and then we are talking about doing half fenders out back over the duals....

Come on Jeff its a CHEVY!!!

That is Dave's project 1978 C30. The dump bed is insane. He pretty much built it from the ground up. My project for the summer is going to be a 2000 Mustang GT coupe. I plan on doing a 4:10 gear swap, full length x pipe exhaust, accufab plenum/75mm body, and hopefully by winter ill do a 6 speed swap.

Bill and I will also be working on finding/restoring an Oshkosh this summer as well as the W300 if we get that.

If you look at the way its posted, right after the pic with the statement that Jay's excited to see the LED lights go in....

and then the pic of the project truck one could assume you have come over to the good side... No where did it mention Dave as the owner of the Chevy Project truck.

I would like to see more of DAVE'S truck especially since I would like to start going over "MY Project truck" soon.

How much would Billy Boy charge me to sandblast my frame and POR 15 it ! LOL omg

I bet that chevy will come out great always thought about doing a project truck like that ,but to find a good truck to start with is hard . plus you need to have a good size garage to work on it in . which I don't have.

The truck is sweeeeeeet... Dave's truck reminded me of my dads old 78' Chevy. Let me tell you!!! Bill wasn't kidding about how well Dave can weld!!!

That guy can lay one heck of a bead !!!

:weld

I think I will be taking some lessons from Dave on welding soon once I finally crack down and get a welder of my own...

Hey Bill/Jay - is it safe to say that the truck will remain red in color or will it be making the same Mystery Machine transformation as the sander :haha

Seriously, looks great, you guys really don't half-arse anything. It's nice to see.
