U Edge storage

What the issue with storing an U edge (mounted ) with the plow weight on it ? Is it really that much of a problem ?

Storing it with weight on the edge can deform it.Use your shoes (adjusted way down) to support the weight of the plow.Doesn't hurt to cover the edge either,to protect it from UV rays.
