I did buy a new 3500# axle to put under the trailer since the welder is aboout 1200# alone and i figured the trailer will be in the 900 pound range. Had to chop off the spring perchs and make new ones, since the trailer frame was not the same as the axle. I used 2 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch tubing for them.

"Missing a vice"
Walt has one mounted to the work bench on the front of the trailer.
Plus he just bought another one yesterday so he can have "two" vises in life.
 John...........

Nice job.I just ditched mobile welding due to insurance, big$$$,I know tons of guys running around doing this who are "insured" but the proper coverage is outragous not to mention hard to find.Good luck with your new venture!
