Not real crazy on the looks, but it may be my next family vehicle. It's not much more than a loaded 1 ton van,but lots more room inside, and way better fuel economy.

i think there very functional, but butt ugly! The 2.7 M-B diesel makes this van very popular with fleets, and businesses. I think the looks of a lot of "american" vehicles are being lost.I always hated the european styling of all there vehicles, and it seems that styling is making its way here.I dont like its looks at all. Also the tires/wheels on the van are 2 sizes too small, they look rediculous, and the van looks real top heavy and tippy, typical of the foriegn trucks/vans.

John, I hear you on the thing looks like it will tip over. The first time I seen the sprinter that was exactly what I thought. Bet its a treat on the expressway on a windy day. We are seeing alot more of them in the fleets usually under the Freightliner badge though. Same truck just different nameplate. They are ugly but I give Dodge some credit for filling a niche here.

Are we talking about the delivery van built by Freightliner? It's got a 5 cylinder Mercedes diesel in it.
I know a company that purchased 3 of them as utility trucks, they were running the standard Dodge van before them. They are having very bad luck with them as far as reliability goes, after 18 months in service they are literally falling apart! The owner of the alarm company is planning to sell them off and go back to the standard vans again.

Some ambulance companies are starting to use them as their first line rigs.I think they are pretty ugly/funky looking.looks like some of the ambulances you see overseas.

I see one everyday on the highway that is spec'd with dual wheels but it is a regular van setup, not a cutaway box van. It just has some black plastic fender flare style extensions on the rear fenders...........
They are definitely unique and more functional than your run of the mill vans since they have the conversion van styled high roof which allows for easier working area inside as well as increased cargo capacity height...
