I've have a Predator programer for our 00 7.3 psd. The problem is when cold (-10C) it will not start unless you return it to stock code. I've up-dated the programer on-line also with no change. The Excursion never fails to start on stock tune regardless of temp. (no smoke either). With the programer it will pump white smoke and just crank at low temp. start-up. The glow plugs seem OK (because the truck always starts clean stock 1st try at any temp.), but Diablo says chage them. I was just south and the unit works fine in warmer temps 1st start in the morning.
We have 2 other Predators on 6.0 lts and no issues.
I've been told the odd PSD just won't be happy and to try a Superchips tuner.

Other than that the unit runs like a bear well maybe a cub compared to Johns cummins....
