How's everyone doing with their salt supplies? Around me everyone is out and I just used the last of mine last night. Could get hit with another event Fri- Sat. Not sure what I'm going to do. May have to hope it'll be warm enough so as salt is not necessary. (I cringe typing that as salt is good $$$$).

I have some I could unlaod but im not to close to you,im down here in Lancaster pa, 35 miles se of harrisburg.

We have plenty of salt and Magic salt here in Poughkeepsie, New York if ya need any.

Just got a Tri-axle load delivered about two hours ago, hated to do it this late in the season but dont want to run too low, would rather have to keep it all summer than run out during a storm. Just my two cents

ya we did the same, got a tri axle of sand and 8 tons of salt delivered the other day. we'll use it up im sure.

We were about out the first of the month (March) had enough for one good event got one more semi load in this week. Made a short run last night on the 24hr stuff, and made a full run this a.m. on everything. Sure glad we got another load, if we have any left oh well it will keep till next fall.

We can fill the truck with one more load. I don't want to buy more as we have to purchase 24 ton miniunm. I want to build a salt bin this year and don't want to have to work around a pile.

I stopped at three places that salt and sell small quanties.
The one guy wants $70.00 per ton and is almost out himself.
The guy that salts the plaza's wants $105.00 a ton. At that price I could use bag salt the remainder o the winter.
The last guy wants $120.00 per ton for bulk.

I had read this thread a few days ago then gone to my one supplier to reload my Blazer with bags. Guy said good thing you got here after we loaded 25 bags or so, then pointed in the corner & said that's our last pallet over there. So I bought that one, just have to get back to pick it up. They aren't ordering in another trailer at this point in the season. But they will still have bulk as needed. My other bag supplier is where I get my fertilizers etc. & they sold their last regular salt a couple of weeks ago & weren't ordering more simply because the warehouse was too full with fert & seed etc. So I can still get bulk no problem, but no more bagged if I use up this pallet & a half.
