I have a Curtis Sno Pro 2000 series that will not stay up when I raise it. I really dont know alot about these brand of plows and was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Just be patient, someone will chime in that knows about your plow! Real quick did you check your fluid level? Also all your connections, it sounds maybe like a sticking solenoid.

You need to check your valve for the drop. Pull the cover off of the A frame and look at your valve body. Two will be opposite of each other and one will be by it self. The lone valve/coil is the one to look at.

First thing to do is to remove the wire from the coil and lift the plow. This eliminates electrical flow to the coil. If it still drops down then.........

IF YOU ARE MECHANICALLY INCLINED... you can remove the valve and check for obstructions in the valve and for valve operation. It should trigger completely. Also on some of the 2000 models they had a seprate check valve that could also hang up.

OR you could always take it to the dealer or plow service shop near you.

Thanks for all your help guys. I ended up taking it to the local dealer. My fluid resevoir cap wasnt sealing and it was letting water in . These two fluids definitly dont mix. Again thank you for all your help.;)
