I have a 810 on a 3500 chevy, when first mounted with the wings out everything was flush with the ground, now it seems im wearing the wing edge out. when wings are out now the ends are off the ground about an inch, the plow is set at 14.25 inches to the center of the mouting hole.Is this normal, i have about 30 plowing hours on it.

Yes its pretty normal. Mine did the same thing on the drivers side especially since i was always feeding the snow into my sidewing 90% of the time. Jerre Heyer told me to double up on the steel on the wing edges, and that the replacement ones from blizzard were doubled already.if you can weld, you might want to do that before it wears much further. I just replaced the steel wings with Urethane, and so far it isnt doing much better. It looks like im getting a full season out of an edge, which is fine by me if I can get that out of the wing edges too.

That has happened with mine too. It doesn't seem to affect the cleaning ability of the plow, mine still cleans better than any other blade I've used.

After noticing how fast the edges wore and how I toasted the curb guard in no time I made a add on. I too was running heavy to the right as I was so impressed with the ablity to windrow and contain snow that I nearly wore the main edge down to the mold board.

I upgraded to the thicker edge all the way across. Then I added 1 1/2" hardend steel to the curb guard. This seem to be really slowing down the wear on the wing edges. I am thinking the hardend steel at 1 1/2" thick on the end is acting as resistance holding someo f the force off the edge which in turn slow down the wear. I am watching to see if I continue to get even or close to even wear. So far so good.
