Well I'm pleased with the re-build of my 4r100 in the Excursion. I refer alot of biz. to a buddies drive train shop and he did me a freebee on the PSD. Nothing really wrong just 250,000km. He upgraded clutches, sonax parts, low stall Dayco convertor, steel valves and up-graded seals etc. One problem we did have is with the Trans-go tuger kit. The truck would just fall flat on it's face. We removed it and he built a valve body and another accumulator and it works great.
He is a real competant tranns teck and never seen a problem like this with trans-go. Now it was his first tuger kit. The down size is Trans-go help line was,... are ********. They said we have no problems with this kit you did something wrong and if you don't like the way it works put stock items in it......sweet. He is a Trans-go dealer no longer and his supplier is up-set.
Anyhow...I just came back and put 4,000 miles on the truck this month and love it. Running the programer on 85hp. great milage and the transmission just down right holds
. If carefull at 50mph just easily pushing the pedal to the floor stays in OD and pull's like a freight train...now to get rid of that speed limiter.......and that convertor..a little brake some boast and it will lite em up into 2nd gear... 7,500lbs of fun

Up-date, the modified valve body with the transgo tuger kit and the accumulater where sent to the Trans-go distributor for inspection. They say there is nothing wrong with the units or the install???? Trans-go said the tuger kit was installed wrong (over the phone) originally.
These parts where replaced with items the shop modified and work great.
Any how. he asked the distributor to send the parts back and he is going to put them back in the the Ex since there is nothing wrong....the distributor said they are not sending the parts back???? makes you wonder...
