Have an 02 F250 X-cab PSD w/ 75K miles on it. When I turn the wheels hard in either direction I get a "clunk, clunk, clunk". It does not happen when turning corners, just when your turning into a parking spot. This is while in 2 wheel drive
What do I need to look for, or what is the problem?
As always thanks in advance for the help.

Have you jacked up the frontend and checked the ball joints? My F150 did the same thing before I put new lower ball joints in. Try jacking one wheel up, set it on very sturdy jack stands, and wiggle it up, down and side to side.
Now is a good time to check the tie rods for play as well.

Check the front axle u-joints,they are probably dry,and binding.

No,the stockers are sealed. If the little rubber seals look rusty brown, most likely the needle bearings are too.
I'd recommend Spicer sealed units for replacement too. They are a PITA to grease, and they tend to get neglected. The sealed units have better seals to keep water out too.
My buddies '03 is doing something similar. Only his is a loud squeek when you turn the wheel. Does it when driving and parked. Almost sounds like the noise made when you turn your wheels on new asphalt, that loud squeeking sound. It sounds like it's coming from the passenger side front wheel where the wheel assembly is mounted to the fork of the axle tube.

According to the dealer it ended up being the front hubs. They were frozen.
