It's a long shot but I had a bad fuel filter on a 94 F350 PSD cause that along with some other stalling issues.
Is it only stalling in reverse?
It might be the CPS (Cam Positioning Sensor) sensor.

Most stalling issues with the PowerStroke are the result of a bad Cam Positioning Sensor (CPS). The CPS can have both an intermittant problem and total failure in which case the truck won't restart.
If the truck shuts down like you've turned it off, the CPS is the most likely suspect. If it stumbles or coughs while it's shutting down, then you've probably got a fuel problem.
The CPS is located on the front cover of the engine and requires a 10mm wrench to replace. A fairly easy swap.
You might want to join TheDieselStop.com (http://www.thedieselstop.com/) , this site is dedicated to Ford diesel trucks, you can find many answers about your truck already posted there. It's a GREAT resource for PowerStroke owners.
