I ran across this today, and thought it might be interesting for some.

Seems to be a good idea, let me know what you think.

Looks all fine and dandy but just think what that will do to the ATV? For light snow and walkways yeah thats neat, but for dirt almost like wet clay hes pusin doubt that machine will last long before the machine is dead as a duck on a lake in duck season.
Buy a Deere or Kubota diesel Tractor 23hp and you will have much better results.

It certainly has potential. I agree with Dave though, I wouldn't push to much dirt with it. Also it would be nice if blade angling was hydraulic instead of manual.

SnowBoy was that dead duck hit with steel ( just a lil ouchy), or truely spanked with a load of Hevi Shot ! :D lol

My father has this plow on his Yamaha Grizzly 600. Since our plow truck is down for awhile he has been using this plow to do the whole driveway (100'). Obviously with a 4 wheeler you aren't going to plow 2 feet of snow, but he keeps up when its really coming down and goes out every hour or so and gets it done. I have used it too myself it is raised and lowered with our winch. The adjustments on the plow are wide range. I could never see using this plow on dirt definitely would be too much work on the 4 wheeler. I could definitely see using this setup if you are doing large business complexes with lots of sidewalk footage.

Was going to post a thread but since this is here I will just ask.
Anyone know or have an invoice showing the weight of a "typical" ATV plow setup?
Need to know if my Uncle and his wife could get it out of the back of their truck if I assembled it for them.

Yea Jess, should be no problem for them to get it out of a pick up, its maybe 100 lbs just a bit awkward but should be no problem.
Mine (was) a 60" MPT straight blade, I cut it down to 48" for sidewalks

Great, I want to assemble it for them, the ATV already has the frame mounts installed, their first blade was stolen from in front of their cabin last year. We got the same setup, so I can put it together at my shop and then they can just unload and hook it up.
Thanks Mike

I don't think its mulch...
looks more like the fine textured sand found in Central and Northern Minnesota.
