View Full Version : Hobart Model G-213 portable welder need some help

Well Jimmy has been shopping again, he picked up a Hobart portable welder. Got it home gets it running first thing he does is check if the welder is working (it does) had some problems getting the handels to move still need to work on this. Ok here is the real problem there is no voltage at the plugs the generator does not seam to be working . There is only one switch on the front panel and it make no differance where you put the switch no power. Anyone have any idea where to start looking.


This will sure to become another project for the boys.

Nice Find!:D Always cool so see that vintage welder stuff in service. I Have a 1961 lincoln model SA 200 and use it qiute a bit. As for repairs on your machine I would say try www.shopfloortalk.com there is alot of very seasoned welders on that board that may be able to help ya out on it. Or even try the Hobart message board. Im sure there is not much wrong with it.
