Fan noise?

I keep hearing a "fan" when driving, its only happened when the plow in on, and doesnt last long, maybe 5-10 seconds.

It sounds like a powerful jet type fan, looked under the hood and all looks ok nothing out of place?

its happened just a few times! (4-5)

Sounds like the clutch fan is kicking in.It will run warmer with the blade on,which can heat the clutch fan up enough for it to engage.It makes quite a roar when it kicks in.
