Ive been searching around the web a bit and so far have been unable to find a site that provides past weather conditions. Does anyone know where you can pull up weather data on a particular day in history?

AccuWeather's premium service has some historic information archived.

What I'd really like to have is access to archived *forecasts*. I'm not just saying that because it would be fun to be able to hold all the busted forecasts against the forecasters, but because there are times we'll react to the forecast and adjust our service accordingly, and if something should turn out badly because of that, it'd be nice to have something to point to by way of an explanation.

Copy & paste is a great thing ;) Your taxes pay for the NWS, so it is not copyright infringement in that case, they are posting that info for the public to use as needed. I have copies of all forecasts & verifications for all salt & plow events for my area for the past 3 or 4 years or so. There are also private companies that serve many areas that will provide detailed winter weather forecasting & verification reports for use for this business. From what I've seen some are pretty affordable & others might be pricey, but that is all relative to one's particular situation.

I agree digger, access to recently passed forecasts would be great. For personal records as well as customers. I'd like to include a copy of weeks past weather in with the bills. This way, the customers can reference particular days and see for themselves that we really did get that much snow or ice. And YES it really was that cold on that day.

I suppose until I can find a site that provides such history of forecasts, or actually daily history , Ill have to dig out the scissors.
