Hi Everyone...

First off.. I am sorry I don't post snow accumulations for more locations of the East Coast but I am not an expert for other locations.

First of all anyone telling you that this is going to be another 1996 storm is nut's period.

1996 came out of the gulf and shot up I95 snowed like hell 18 hours then stopped 28 inches here in Harrison w/ Thunder !!

Bottom line is cloudy on Satruday snow starts in Newark METRO area say 4 to 7 pm, snow is expected to become heavy at times during Satruday night then things get tricky A) does the snow start to mix witth sleet and rain or does it stay all snow. I think it's going to be a close call.

My first call....

3 to 6 inches of snow 75% chance

6 to 8 inches of snow 70% chance

8 to 12 inches of snow 60%

Chance of the storm going to far south to affect us
only at 25% chance.

All Rain no snow only a 5% chance of that.

Ok there you have it. I will try to update this
each day until the event.

Comments ALWAYS welcomed !!

Hi Tony good to have you on board here for the east coast guys.
Would you happen to know Tom Skilling here in Chicago ? Sure would love for him to give me a "snow plowing report".

I had never spoke to Tom but have seen him on TV to me he is one of the best around. He reminds me of Bob Harris that use to be out of NYC TV market. Anyway I wish we had him here on the east coast our TV weather people really be stink except a very small few.

Will this storm get far enough inland to affect the great lakes area at all ? I've seen a few of the models, and it looks like it will, but no mention of anything up here.

Guys.. I only forecast for the NYC Metro area- Really don't have time to look into these other areas and give a forecast I am sorry.

On Northern NJ - Very heavy snowfall rates are possible Satruday Night into Sunday it's going to be very interesting the 12 inch snow forecast MIGHT turn out to be way underdone. With that said back to some more forecasting.
