just saw this from Ch 7
So, here's my first guess forecast:
Cape & Islands
--------------------
5"+
Plymouth County, South Shore & the Eastern edge of Cape Ann:
-------------------------------------------------------
3-6"
Northern Cape Ann, North Shore, Metro Boston, Bristol County, out to Providence:
-----------------------
2-4"
North & West of 495 & most of Worcester County, Monadnocks:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1-3" (locally higher due to elevation)

What's with all the cape storms this year? 2-4 is enough to plow for me, but I'd rather have a good 4-6. I haven't seen the weather yet tonight, but hopefully it won't turn to rain again like it has in the storms so far.

Drobson almost no chance of that around here. WAY TOO COLD for that. Ratios being mentioned are 15-1 maybe higher.
Yea this one will be a nice dry powdery blowing snow. :D

Hey Bill, next time how about expanding this thread to New England instead of just Massachetts? ;) Most of time when you guys get a storm, CT and NY also get a piece of it. I'd like to be involved in one of those thread since this is the same storm we're getting but this topic is for Massachetts region. Just a thought. :D ;)

1-3" forecasted for here. I doubt it'll snow enough for plowing. It was supposely to start snowing around noon today and so far at 9pm I see nothing out of my window.

Forecasting 2-4" up here. Everyone is getting plowed regardless. I didn't plow the 1 " we got thurs. Had numerous calls asking why.:( It was 55 degrees the next day , and they still couldn't understand why I didn't plow it. I guess if their willing to pay, I'll play.

Just saw the latest forcast for my area, they are saying 3-6 inside Rt. 128 and 5-8 for the south shore and cape. 1-3 outside 128 to the Worcester area.
There is about 1/2" or so on the ground now in Malden, and they say it should be done with around 6 or 7am. Looks like I'll be getting up around 5am to start my route.

Looking at radar, doesn't look like we could get more then 1 or maybe 2 inches at the most in CT from the current radar, just not filling in. Guess i'll be up for 4:30 to clean up this "event"........... .5" right now

I relied on Chikage Windler on Channel 7 Boston . Her forecast was 3 to 7" for my area . I have 1"here and its all done . She should have gone to weather.com for her snowfall prediction . They predicted 1 to 3. What a failure on her part .

Ok This is beyond ridiculous.....
They were calling for 1" to 3" for nearly the entire tri-state area CT /NY/NJ
What did we get here in Stamford, CT just barely a dusting !!!! and Its a dry powder snow so the wind in blowing it off the roads and lots.
Not even enough to salt my lots:mad: even though the state and the city salted the roadways.

Just got done here, 2" in malden area, a little less in woburn/burlington, almost nothing in Lexington. With this trend, I need to start getting accounts closer to the coast!!

I had enough to push 3/4 of what I plow .
This is ridiculous! I started watching this about 8:00 last night. Got up at 2:00 and had about 3" but still snowing so went to sleep in the chair. Got up at 5:30 and had gotten another 1/2". Still snowing and another inch predicted. Watched radar and it's showing the end of the snow about 30 miles east so got ready to head out about 9:30. Light snow when I started and started falling heavier.
Went back to the house to wait. :headwall
