Question about Pump mounts.

Slight problem with the beast....The 8611 lost the driver side mounting bolt on the pump (I guess it vibrated out) and I can't remember if the bolt had a sleeve of some kind around it or not. The directions don't show anything like this but the hole in the bracket seems to be larger than the "spec'd" bolt. I could add extra washers to shim it up but I think this is temporary at best. Any help from the "gadget" experts would be greatly appreciated.

JD, We've been using a stud in the hole with LOCTITE on it and double nuting the stud to the bracket. Other fix is to use a longer bolt and LOCTITE.

Be sure the threads are clean on the bolt and the manifold

Jerre thanks much. Your right on the money. The installer apparently decided the loctite wasn't necessary :headwall . I did the loctite thing this afternoon and hopefully everything will hold together. The front pump bracket had a crack in it from all the movement so we had that welded today also. :rolleyes: Thanks a bunch. :waving
