2003 5.9l Hi Output Cummins

A friend of mine is having trouble with air cleaner consumption on his hi-output 5.9l cummins diesel.He had it dealer installed and at 600 miles it is 65% used!They tell him nothing is wrong,he thinks otherwise.Anybody have similiar problem.He has 30k miles on it.

Welcome !

Tell him to check with the dealer,and get a new restriction indicator.There were a bad batch of 2003's with incorrectly calibrated filter minders,that would show too much restriction.
