Wish it wouldn't do the mix thing, how about a nice 12" powder event......that would be nice

I hope it doesn't turn to rain too fast, I would like to get some plowing in anyway. The last 2 storms the mix/rain line has been further north than they predicted, not good news seeing as this one they say rain all the way up to 495.
Here's wishing for cold weather :drinkup

I just say the news and they say we are in the 2-4" range then every one goes to rain freezing ice inthe middle of MA down the centra CT.

I saw that too, but I was not sure if they meant 2-4 before the rain, or after all is done. They do that alot, tell you how much snow, they say it will turn to rain, but don't mention if it will be enough rain to wash everything away.

4-6" from doctor Mel for my area, guess we'll know for sure in 24 hrs.

Dr. Mel has the state broken down into 3 accumulation zones.
the 2 to 3 inch area down along the coast
the 3 to 5 inch area in the central part of the state
and the 4 to 6 inch area in the northern part of the state.
Who knows

Just got home, still snowing lightly, no road accumulation yet, but sidewalks and driveways have about 1/2" or so.
News now says 1-3" for everything north and west of Boston before turning to ice and freezing rain in the early morning. Not really talking about all rain any more. Hopefully will be able to plow some.
