i have a older fisher hydraulic plow, a g series im pretty sure and its slow i have to rev up the engine so i can pick faster .i heard there is a screen in there some where .and im sure its probably dirty can you give directions on how to clean it ,, and is there any other way i can get it to go a little faster .

Arty, Good news and bad, The under hood pumps are notoriously slow. As for a filter.......If there is one in the system it will be in the return hose to the resivor/pump tank and look like a fuel filter. Appx 2.5 In in dia and 3-4in long. Pull it off and flush it out. Put it back on.
Again the bad news....Those pumps are slow from the get go. IF revving the motor still makes for a slow lift then you need to Change out the pump to a new one.

has anyone ever try to put on a bigger pulley on the pump .and will that work .

A bigger pulley on the pump would slow the plow down even more. You need a bigger one on the engine or smaller one on the pump.Be careful as any pump has its limit as far as RPMS go.You can overspeed it if you overdrive it too much.
