Cherokee Brake Problem

So here's the problem when braking moderately coming to a stop I get a strange knocking noise coming from the rear. It doesn't do it all the time though and doesn't do it during light or heavy braking.

I haven't got a chance to pull the drums off of the rear yet and was hoping someone else had maybe had the problem or possibly some insight on what to look for.
