OK guys,
I have a 12v Cummins and a 24 V. In the mountains the brakes get a work out. Several friends have suggested engine brakes. ATS is down in Denver and seems to have a good reputation around here. Any other suggestions or experience???:huh

Scott: not sure if it is available in your application, but I have a Western Diesel in the 550. Works very well and I would not hesitate to install it again.

John, the Western Diesel uses the existing Ford butterfly valve, correct? I don't think the Cummins is equipped with that.
In my opinion, BD Power (http://www.bd-power.com/) has the best systems available, though they're a bit pricey. I've talked with a few Dodge owners who have them in dump trucks and they've been very happy with the performance.

Yes Steve, it's plugged into the EBV.

It's tough to spring for the BD in the PowerStrokes when utilizing the EBV is so effective. I've got my F-350 set up with a homade switch and it works pretty well. Just need to put a converter lock switch in to hold the tranny for downshifting.
