I bought a MM1 setup with a 9' frink style blade. i'm thinking now that the MM1 frame won't work with a full blade trip plow. This would be on a 93 f-350 turbo diesel as our third plow truck. I have come to the conclusion that I want a 8' bottom trip blade and the push plates for the truck. Fisher dealer said they are part number #7128. if i can't find some. i'm gonna fab them. But i still want a blade and an opinion on if the frink is too big. I can always use it on my internationl dump. Thanx for any help/opinions
If that truck is dual wheeled you will need 9' to clear wide enough for the rear wheels. No matter what, a 9' blade isn't too big for a 350. Of course, I'm assuming this isn't some monster highway plow from the dark ages.

9 foot is fine.I wouldn't plow with anything smaller. It's nice to have to bigger blade, you can get a lot closer to stuff without getting the truck in close.

9 ft should be perfect,I preffer this 8-10fter though:D. My 3/4 ton pushes the 10ft blade easily, your 350 shouldn't have any trouble at all with a 9ft blade.

The MM1 will work fine with a full trip plow. I have converted a few meyer blades to work on MM1 assemblies.

I don't think the width of that plow is the problem but it looks really heavy/well built. I bet there's quite a weight difference between that plow and say a 9' Western or Fisher molboard.

Nice looking funnel wing blade!!!
It should work out fine with some fabricating to the mounting setup...

Did anyone ever come up with what it is? It looks like the Big Daddy of my plow with the straight cutting edge and the vee top.

it is a braun plow. i talked to someone there last year and it is what they used to call a gull wing plow. http://www.braunsnowplows.com/reversible.html
I have since bought a 9' foot diamond for MM1 and a 9' fisher with a one ton ford i bought this summer so i prob will not use this plow this winter either.
thanks guys for the interest. and yes its pretty heavy. my little skidsteer barely moves this. and it can break 1100 pounds off the ground.
