i have a question for anyone with a BossV, is it possible to get the blade to drop faster, without affecting the speed of the wings? my wings seem to be very touchy and move faster than the blade goes down. i'd rather have it drop faster to go right down to the pavement (not to break ice like in other threads in other forums). I know about the adjuster on the back of the pump but I figured if i made that faster, it would make my wings even more jerky and touchy.
any help here would be appreciated. thanks guys!

I don't know Boss manifolds very well, but most manifolds are designed the same with regards to lowering the plow. In most set-ups, the actual duty lowering the blade is accomplished via a solenoid valve and the speed at which it drops is normally controlled by some type of flow control valve, or "quill". Normally, adjusting the quill only affects how fast or slow the blade lowers and doesn't affect the other hydraulic functions. However I could be wrong.
