It looks as if we're finally going to get some significant accumulation. Canadian Weather Channel is forecasting a major storm coming up from the U.S. They are predicting up to 12" depending on where you live. Up to 6"s predicted for my area.
Finally going to get out and make some money! Bring it on:) :canada

Same here for Central Ohio, we are expecting around 12" total after 2 back to back snow storms. I can't wait!

Welcome fellas. When I read the name of this thread, snow was the farthest thing from my mind...;) But then I noticed it was under the Weather Discussions forum. :D Mike

Rainer made you think, huh. I'm sure we all think of getting some while we are plowing snow, from the lonely housewife who invites you in for coffee and cookies after plowing her.......driveway, of course.
Enough of that, let's go make some Christmas money for the next few days. I plan on being awake for awhile now, too excited to sleep. This is our first sinificant snowfall here.
Good luck to you guys on your snowfall. Check back after the storm with snow totals, I hope our weathermen are right in their prediction of 12".

Me too! Good luck & be safe out there!

Usually our biggest storms follow tracks up through the Ohio Valley (like this one is doing), or from the East. This seems to be a pattern the past few years. We get nothing at all, and then our first plowable event is a monster. Personally, I'd rather plow a couple inches of light and fluffy, and hold off on the freezing rain too!

Great first snowfall. We had blizzard-like conditions in central Ohio with 15" of snow in my town. I plowed for 5 days, and pulled 2 overnighters just to keep up with plowing demands. My used Meyer E-47 plow as paid for after the second day of plowing. Can't wait for more.
