New truck doesn't clear the door into the garage (garage is 36 feet long though). I got stuff to do it!
Todays project... a REALLY heavy duty extension cord for the welder. 3 conductor, 6 guage SO cord is NOT cheap. Between the plugs and cord I have almost $200 into this. Welder reaches the door with 15' to spare :)

My truck doesn't fit in my garage either. It is too tall with the 35''s on... I think with 265's I put on for plowing it will fit.

It's looks like you only have 12' ceilings :( so the only taller door would be a sliding barn door style.
Or just lift the roof trusses & add a couple more block courses. :cash Not cheap but we have done it before.
Or just add another bay for the new truck :D It's only money :cash :cash :D
Or just park & work on the truck out side ;)

Nice shop TLC. Looks very sharp. Good choice in colors. What type of heating did you go with? Next, come this summer all ya need is some pavement/concrete in front of your roll up doors to help keep the shop floor cleaner:D
I used 10-3 SO , made a 50' cord and a 15' cord. 3 Nema 6-50 male plugs and 2 nema 6-50 flush mount plugs, covers and a boxes.
They both run my miller 210 and lincoln 185 tig fine.

I have made very heavy duty cords myself in the past, besides not being able to find them many places, when you do find them, they are very expensive.
My truck fits in my garage with about 2" of roof clearance, the first time I drove in with the plow on, and took it off in the garage, I didn't think I would be able to get out with the weight off the front end, but it just made it. Of course I can't put any permanant lights on the truck, unless I never want it in the garage again. But then again, the garage is not very deep, so I can't close the door anyway, but it is nice to work on the truck out of the weather, even if there is a draft.

I have the same problem real hard to get the truck in and if I put the light bar on it will not go in .But this time around i'm going with the same mount that they have with the wreckers one bolt so when I do need to get in I just undo 2 bolts and the antenna and it will get in .

Depending on how close a fit, you could take some air out of the tires as long as you have an air compressor nearby. I did this a couple times while working on my truck. I only needed a couple inches. It's a pain in the a$$ but it worked for me. Smaller tires are going on my superduty next time around.
