I looking at buying the new Poly strait blade Boss and they are wanting to sell me the curb gaurds for an extra $250. Is this worth the money? will I really need it and do they work?

I am thinking that I will be doing small businesses and residential driveways.

Thanks,
Scott.

I wouldnt spend the money on them if you really want some once you wear out your first cutting bar on the plow you can make your own by heating up and bending around the old bar and it will save you $250

I would highly recommend the curb guards. Just purchased a new 9.2 Poly V. The dealer took off from the new plow the snow catcher, cutting edge, and shoes. The he installed the new curb guards that replace all the aforementioned. So two curb guards ended up coasting me like 80 bucks. I run the curbs when plowing and these new items will save wear and tear on the plow big time.

I bought the curb guards for my Fisher X Blade along with the slight U Edge overhang (ends ) It keeps my SS plow purdy
