Yeah I noticed same story on news.
Said the wheel could just fall off.
OOOOPPPSSS!

And they said Chrysler knew about it yet didnt see any real threat until government told them to do it.

So do they wait till so many people have to die then make the recall????

I saw it on the news as well. WOW is all I can say...here we are in the year 2004, and we still cant get a wheel to stay put on a vehicle??? :rolleyes: Awesome! :headwall Mike

That's great on these worthless things, my truck has 72k on it and I've replaced 3 of the 4. However they were replaced with the Moog's and have grease fittings.

I have been debating on changing them out but why mess with something that is fine still and has no play, I figure if they dont go before 125k then I will change them then just to be sure:)

does your dak have timbrens on the front?

This is really old news 20/20 had a deal on them over a year ago chrys waits always til the gov makes them dont know how many uppers we have changed here in the shop i know these people i have taken care of will be elgible for reinbursment.

Youre right about old news. In 2002 my 01 ram 2500 had real bad loose front end. Dodge wrote an estimate for 1800 included ball joints for free and both stering knuckles I had to pay 800. still had warrenty. 42K miles
They work real good just dont hold up
