Just went to a funeral a few weeks ago and it caught my eye. Cemetaries. Mainly roads, some small lots. Easy cash.
Anyone here plow cemetaries?

In my area, the city/town takes care of them .No need to worry about waking up the residents and they are no in any hurry to get anywhere :(

Yes I have one I do. It is out in the township beside the church I do. The cemetarie is owned by an assocation/or a small board of trusties. We only plow it when there is going to be a funeral. It is not a big money maker I do it more for the trusties to save them time. Plus it is just up the road form the house about a 1/2 mile.

Yeah, most cemetaries have crews that dig graves, cut grass and generally maintain the property. So they have the equipment to handle the snow.
But it couldn't hurt to talk to the crew supervisor, befriend him and see what they do, or if they ever hire out subcontractors to help them plow. You never know.
I know that a catholic cemetary crew here in my town also handles another catholic cemetary in town and possible one in the next town over. So I don't know how fast they get to the plowing.
But then again, no ones in a hurry to get out and go shopping!

We are pretty much the same here. They usually have their own grounds crew, who take care of everything. They just use a backhoe to clear everything.
There are some small private ones, that don't seem to do anything with the snow, but they never seem to have any people in them anyways. Most of these are no longer active, and don't even have vehicular access.

Funny this came up.. I do the year around grounds maint. for three smaller ones around here. The get plowed at 4" trigger though, unless a funeral is scheduled.
One good thing, no one bothers you when you work in a cemetary...
